How To Apply Henna Effectively
The application of henna is popular all over the world and in some parts of the world henna is also known as mehndi, however, the popularity of this art is high in almost every part of the world. Henna designs come in many different forms and designs, the three most popular styles of Mehndi that exist today are Indian Mehndi designs, Pakistani Mehndi designs, and Arabian Mehndi designs.
Henna comes in many different shades and colors like brown, dark green, black, and popular reddish-orange. Actually, natural henna lasts much longer than artificial henna, so if you are looking for a more durable version, choose the natural version.
Are you wondering how to use henna effectively when a feature approaches?
Almost anyone can paint simple patterns of Mehndi on their hands, legs, and body parts if you understand how. So let’s look at the steps to achieve just that! Preparing henna would be the first step, so make sure this is accomplished before you start this art. You have two options: prepare your own henna with henna leaves, or simply buy ready-made henna from a store near you.
It would be better to choose natural henna since it will certainly last longer (about 1-2 weeks) than artificial henna, which will start to fade in a few days. Prepare the henna by adding hot water and some jasmine oil to the ground henna powder in a bowl. Optional items include coffee powder, ground tea leaves, and sugar, which would answer the question of how to darken the mehndi, although these items could be dispensed with. The addition of lemon juice would allow the henna paste to stay fresh longer.
If you are not sure where to mix the paste, use an empty margarine tub that you can get rid of when you are done with the henna. Mix the paste evenly and add a little more boiling water until the paste looks like toothpaste. Once you notice that the consistency of your paste is similar to that of the toothpaste, you should close the lid of the container and store it in a dry place for about 3 hours.
Choose your design from among Indian, Pakistani, and Arab designs and use tools such as toothpicks and ready-made templates to apply henna to the skin. Remember that the choice of tools depends on how complicated the designs you choose are. You should wait about 3 hours after applying henna to the specified body parts to allow it to dry effectively on the skin. When the henna is dry, simply remove it, but be careful not to wash the area with water for at least 12 hours.
Henna motifs for hands and feet are often more sensitive and complicated than motifs on other parts of the body, so you should spend more time on these motifs to make sure they look good. Instead of asking a professional to apply henna, it is better to do it yourself, as it would be a satisfying and fun experience. Learning to apply henna is not difficult at all, as there are numerous books and Mehndi tutorial pages. So with these tutorials, you will learn the art of applying henna effectively.
