Hair Growth For Women – Some Home Remedies to Improve Female Hair Growth
There are many treatments, medications, and procedures that promise to improve hair growth in women. Some are cheap, while others will cost you a lot of money. Most people tend to take medications and supplements to promote hair growth. The sad thing is that some of these products have side effects that can damage the body if not taken correctly. If you want a safe and healthy alternative that is also affordable, there are many home remedies that can improve women’s hair growth. Most of the ingredients you need to use can be found in your home.
o Aloe Vera – this is perhaps one of the oldest home remedies for hair loss. You can apply it directly to the scalp or mix it with coconut milk. Aloe Vera cleans the pores of the scalp, which can prevent healthy hair growth. It also keeps the PH level of your scalp in balance, and a healthy scalp leads to healthy hair. There is a downside to this home remedy: the smell of aloe vera is less than appetizing. Make sure you clean your hair thoroughly after using it on your scalp.
o Henna – prevents hair breakage and makes your hair healthy You can apply this Indian herb to your scalp and hair by massaging it. After covering all your hair with henna, leave it on for an hour before rinsing it out thoroughly. Use daily for about 2 weeks. The side effect of using henna is that it can color the hair red, which is not really bad for most people.
or Amla – also known as Indian Gooseberry. It is often used in shampoos and other hair products because it is said to promote healthy hair, nourish the scalp, and reduce premature graying. You can boil amla in coconut milk to make a very strong hair tonic. Another way to use amla is to extract its juice and combine it with an equal amount of lime juice and use it as a shampoo.
o Almond oil – is known to make hair stronger and healthier, which prevents breakage. Apply almond oil to your hair by massaging it in. Since you need to use a natural oil to stimulate blood circulation when massaging your scalp, use almond oil.
These are just some of the most effective and affordable products you can use to take good care of your hair and female scalp and prevent premature hair loss.
Henna adventures!! Ultimately, I didn’t end up loving the LUSH henna, but I found a way to make it work. Stay tuned for part 2 where I show how I MacGyver LUSH’s henna bar into a gorgeous fluffy whipped leave-in.
