3 Home Remedies For Healthy and Shiny Hair

Exposure to heat, pollution, and the use of chemicals such as hair dyes can cause hair to become dry and brittle. These factors can accelerate hair loss and cause split ends. A busy lifestyle can lead to neglecting proper hair care.

There are several commercial hair care products available that target people with all hair requirements. Although most of these products live up to their promises, people still need to continue caring for their hair.

Some everyday products found in the fridge and pantry can be great conditioners and save you some money. Below are three of these home remedies that can do wonders for your hair if used regularly.

Vinegar – After washing your hair, rinse with half a cup of vinegar. Let it rest for 5 minutes before rinsing it with water. When you’re done, apply your normal conditioner so you don’t smell like a salad! Your hair will remain soft and shiny.

Henna – Henna is a plant that has been used for generations as a natural dye. It helps eliminate dandruff and acts as an excellent natural conditioner. Henna is now available in the form of energy, which can be purchased in stores that sell local African, Indian, or Arab products. Take about 500g of henna powder and mix it with half a cup of lemon and 50g of yogurt. Store overnight in the refrigerator. Apply evenly to the scalp and hair and keep for one hour. Rinse well and shampoo hair if necessary. Repeat this once a week.

Mayonnaise – Yes, that sounds a little unconventional. But mayonnaise has the goodness of egg yolk, one of the most famous natural hair conditioners. For best results, apply plenty of mayonnaise to dry hair and leave it on for half an hour. Then rinse with water and wash your hair thoroughly. Then use your normal conditioner. You don’t have to worry about the smell of salad because when you’re done with the shampoo and conditioner, your hair won’t smell like mayonnaise anymore.
