Alternative, All-Natural Hair Conditioners From Your Kitchen
Natural conditioners can take your hair to a new level of beauty and shine. Although ready-to-use conditioners are the most convenient, if you’re feeling adventurous and environmentally friendly, there are some alternative hair care solutions you can prepare in your own kitchen. Whether your hair is oily or too dry, an all-natural conditioner may be just what you need to restore volume and balance to your hair.
1. Moisturize dry hair
To tame frizzy hair and hydrate dry hair, combine an egg, a tablespoon of olive oil, and a cup of yogurt. Mix this mixture properly and massage it into your hair and scalp. Let it work for at least one hour and then shampoo it off. After the first application, you will notice softer and shinier hair. Repeat the application once or twice a month.
2. Tame an oily scalp
When you’ve had enough of flat, oily hair, try mixing in a cup of yogurt, an egg white and a few drops of lime juice. Apply the juice generously to your curls, covering your hair and scalp. The lime juice and proteins help to stabilize the hair without adding grease.
3. probiotic plush
Are you starting to realize that the benefits of yogurt go beyond digestive and nutritional health? Try using a yogurt shake several times a week instead of shampoo and conditioner to condition and wash your hair in one go.
4. Protein and citrus fruits
To encourage dull hair and add shine, combine a whole egg with two tablespoons of lemon juice. Leave the mixture in your hair for 20 minutes. This conditioning treatment combines protein and citrus fruits to add shine and vitality to dull curls.
5. The goodness of hot oil
A weekly hot oil scalp treatment can help you achieve a high shine in your curls. Heat a few tablespoons of olive oil until it no longer feels hot, then massage it evenly and thoroughly into your hair and scalp. Wrap your head in plastic and cover it with a hot towel. Leave the hot oil treatment on your hair for one hour and then wash it as usual.
6. Heavenly Henna
You’ve probably heard of henna for creating Mehndi Indian tattoos or as an all-natural hair dye, but henna is also an excellent hair conditioner. To preserve its hair care properties, mix one cup of henna powder with one egg and one tablespoon of lime juice. Add a little yogurt as needed to smooth the mixture so that it can be spread on your hair. Apply the mixture evenly to your hair and scalp and leave it on until it starts to dry and harden a little. Shampoo hair. Use this treatment once a month for best results.
