Gorgeous rich red tones that pop even on dark hair strands and give you a gorgeous highlight on greys.
I’ve been talking about the importance of moisture in your recipe and it’s essential you add aloe vera powder to your recipe. It’s a must!
Our suggested recipe to achieve this:
(this recipe is enough for shoulder length hair of average thickness. Adjust as needed according to your hair length and thickness)
-100 grams of Red Raj henna
-2-3 tbsp of organic hibiscus petal powder
-1 tsp of organic aloe vera powder
1.Mix all powders together in a bowl. Glass or stainless steel are preferred (plastic is okay but it is porous so we suggest you use your plastic bowl only for hair recipes exclusively.
2.Add warm to hot liquid (distilled water, ACV or green tea). Make sure your liquid is either cold not boiling hot (ever!).
Add enough liquid so you make your paste into the consistency of pancake batter or thick full fat yoghurt.
3. Allow to sit for dye release for 3-4 hours
4. On damp hair, apply the henna treatment all over from roots to ends. Wrap well and leave on for 3-4 hours.
5. CoWash out to easily take out the henna from your hair. Dry and style as usual.
You can repeat this treatment every 4-6 weeks.
